What a surprise...

Tuesday after Transfers...

Stan and I were visiting with several missionaries out front of the office.

We were very tired it was a big day.

A car pulled up to the office...

in my mind I thought..

OH NO..

Someone is here to purchase one of our retired mission cars!

Then Joe got out of the car!

We haven't seen him since Ruth Nick and Audrey's funeral!
Three years plus.

We have never seen Rhynli!

I started yelling...

OH MY GOSH..

over and over.

The missionaries and Stan had no idea what was wrong with me.

Then Stan saw Joe as well...

Ceiledha came running over...

Tawny brought Rhynli.

What a wonderful surprise.

They had just received Army Family of the Year award in Washington DC.

I didn't even begin to believe they may come down here.

BUT THEY DID!!!!!!!

We went out to dinner... 

Tuesday night

Wednesday night

and then we went to Gator land Thursday...

Joe prepared a delightful Southwestern Salmon for us Thursday night 

Friday we spent the day at Sea world.

In the office...

 Crispers....

 A gift from Afghanistan.. made from camel bone

 Olive Garden...sipping soup through a straw

 Rhynli used a fork spoon knife and straw to kill this soup.

 It's been so cold the gators didn't want to move..
They just wanted to warm themselves in the sun.

 Wood storks egrets and great egrets were eating out of our hands

 Beautiful to see them together again.

 Water feature, much more impressive in person.

 George...he is everywhere

  A Cuban gator...

they only get to be 10 feet..

but don't mess with them..

they are mean!

 This guy is 14 feet long, Tawny's hands reminding me which gator this was.

 White Gator

This gator is albino--

but the other three white gators at gator land have a generic condition called lecsim.

They are said to be the rarest creatures on the earth.

They are kept in separate pens because they are mean and will even eat each other.

This gator was in a pen all day with tape around his mouth...

The worker asked Ceilehda to help him put the gator back in the water.

 Rhynli loved the penguins

 The dolphin and whale show was spectacular.

 Rhynli was so excited...she couldn't take it in fast enough.

 Little two year old on the fence...couldn't pass it up.

 Soaked after a ride that almost gave Ceilehda a heart attack!

This was such a funny show with sea lions an otter and walrus.

 These flamingos were moving back and forth to the music

Amazing.

Not quite the end of the day..

But pretty close.
