Monday the Lord set up a lunch to bring two beautiful sisters together.
Sister Beverly and Sister Janet were both in need of a friend and fellowship.
We came together at a lunch Sister Miller and I tried to set up separately
BUT..
it became the same lunch...
Sister Millers lunch with sister Janet and Carole...
My lunch with Beverly and Carole...
Funny thing Carole had to work...
So Beverly Janet Sister Miller and myself...
What a miracle.
Janet, Sister Miller, Sister Campbell, Beverly
We were back on the road this week.
We are trying to visit all the Farm Bureau board members...
to give them the packet Stan made up for them.
We have found some wonderful...
REAL...
People.
We found real redneck country as well.
Lots of confederate flags...
Many more American flags...
Real farms...
The people love this country...
Love their families...
and...
they love God...
Chris...
This is not Spain.
Beautiful lakes and ponds everywhere...
Tractors that do real work...
I know this is a familiar sight...
Here they calls them rolls of hay...
They are grass...
And they don't sell by the ton...
They sell by the roll.
Florida's highest exports are...
Cattle...
and...
fern.
This is a flag pole...
This rancher took a dead tree and buried it...
then strung up his
American and Confederate Flag.
His front gate was made of the same type of tree.
Elder Campbell felt right at home...
Gates to open and close.
Elder Campbell is real good at this.
Elder Campbell is real good at this.
Under all the trees the farmers have shade plants...
There are sprinklers out there to water their crop.
It looked like a type of fern and bushes.
The man who lives here is the Farm Bureau Chaplin...
He says all their prayers.
Visiting him in his home was like being in heaven.
he is a wonderful man with a sweet wife.
They have a beautiful love story of how they met...
These are their cattle.
This is the church they have devoted their lives to...
as missionaries.
It was built in 1916...
If the Juniper church...
Now Gordon Henrie's shop...
Were taken care of this is what it would have looked like.
The homes range from very southern...
to Log cabins...
To some very redneck kind of dwellings...
This is irrigated rye grass...
In the back horizon you can see the wheel lines.
This is not a pivot.
It is another kind of wheel line. (lateral move)
District meeting...
We had the Zone Leaders...
And...
the Assistants.
Elders Larsen, Bohn (ZL) Adriano, Jackson, Gubler (ZL) Pratter, Harrington, Willey, Vilario, Mortenson (AP's)
Sister Miller and Ursenbach.
We will certainly miss these wonderful young people.
Friday...
We took Elder Campbell to the Dermatologist.
We told the President we would be there...
He arranged our final interview...
Our trip to Orlando...
Brought a lot of familiar sites..
our land mark
Traffic...
Such a contrast to the beauties we had enjoyed all week.
Same office...
Different people.
Sister Parker, ...don't know where Elder Parker was.
Sister and Elder Gebs
Back in the space we used to work in.
After the interview...
Sister and President Hall...
Elder and Sister Campbell.
This was hard...
But a good experience....
But very hard...
I guess it is time.
We met Ginger and Sherri for dinner at O'Charlies...
What good friends...
I missed them as we moved to Deland...
We will always be friends...
Saturday evening...
There was a baptism for Christine...
She and her siblings are baptized except for a younger sister.
The father is not a member...
She has been going to church with her siblings since Primary.
She was ready.
Because she was late and we had to leave early I didn't get a picture.
Sunday after Sacrament meeting we got that picture.
Elder Harrington Christine Elder Willey
Christine and Sister Campbell (Elder Campbell was missing in action, we couldn't find him)

We left the baptism early because Sister Miller was having Keane's and us over for dinner.
When we got there...
There were a lot of cars...
Millers can never feed just a few people...
they are just that kind of people.
So I thought they just asked more people for dinner...
then she told us we were...
the 'guests of honor'...
and ushered us into the living room...
It finally dawned on us that this event was for US.
Then we found out it was both wards...
To start...
Carole sang 'The Lords Prayer'
She is singing in Sacrament meeting in February...
I was sad because I have never heard her sing solo.
She has a beautiful trained voice.
Brother Larsen played the piano.
He is also trained and teaches at Stetson University.
So this was a professional performance.
Words cannot describe the moment.
Stan and I could not hold back the tears...
Sister and Bishop Hunter, 1st ward
(Left to right) Sister Waddups Stan Sister Davis, Novacs Butch and Jo Marks and Bob Keane
The most giving and charitable couple...
Butch and Jo Marks.

Sister Probst Sister Hunter and Carole
Brother and sister Huber
Can you believe this cake?
Probst family
Brother and Sister Larsen...
Hanging onto to their daughter...
Julia so I could get a picture.
The reason we are here.
Bob and Carole Keane
We are friends forever...
This wonderful couple are the host of so many social events.
Bishop and Sister Miller.
Sister Miller put this book together...
On the cover is a road branching.
The poem to the side says...
I shall be
Telling this with a sigh
Ages and ages hence:
Two roads
Diverged in a wood,
and I,
I took the one less traveled by
And that has made all the difference...
(to Deland Florida)
Robert Frost
Inside she has pictures from the area...
She has spiritual quotes...
And sayings...
then...
some of the people
signed it and added cards and pictures.
Not everyone got to it...
there were a lot of people there.
When we got home...
Elder Adriano had a tie for Elder Campbell
not just any tie...
this one cinches up...
he doesn't have to tie it.
Missionaries are so fun...
Their sentiment comes in the form of a tie.
Elder Adriano Elder Campbell and Elder Larsen.
Sunday evening we made a couple of visits...
But we took pictures with Andrew and family...
Andrew is the receptionist at the back doctor.
He and Bobbi his wife just had baby Sereniti.
Getting my baby fix...
Bobbi, Andrew and Sereniti
Daddy is quite the pro...
Sound a sleep...
Daddy's little girl.
As we come to the end of this week...
Our apartment has piles all over it...
Our hearts are tender...
tears are close to the surface...
And we are humbled to our knees...
At the love we feel...
from our counterparts...
our friends...
and our Father in Heaven.
