Monday the Sisters and I went to Historic Downtown DeLand.
The Elders always do things together but the sisters just have themselves.
So.....
Downtown DeLand has a lot of murals but this is the one by the wooden sculpture that was vandalized after we had Elder Moultrie and Back here our first day.
It is missing the tall Giant Egret.
Can you believe someone would be so mean?
We ate at the Brick House. Nice place. While we were in there it started to down poor.
There are awnings along the walk but the wind was blowing so we slipped into a unique boutique.

Found some fun things. A turtle made form a pop bottle lid and paperclips.
Without all the bangles this would be a really nice wind chime.
I love it, No I didn't purchase it.
There were a lot of fun things to do and we enjoyed about three wonderful 'girl' hours together.
Elder Campbell and I are on the road again to find the 'lost' souls.

We drove past this old orange processing plant.
We were looking for a lady who has a lot of 'Stuff'.
This wasn't it but it was a nice little break.
Beth there are a lot of elephants.
A lot of fun things that could be welded if someone in the family had an inkling.
This furniture is huge, massive, and absolutely amazing.
No nails just wooden dowels.
Wash basins refinished.
refinished toilet and all the accessories as well.
Honey we have never heard of.
This is the most mellow flavorful honey I have ever tasted.
Peanuts roasted and boiled on the premises.
If you put the peanuts in this machine..
It makes fresh peanut butter...Yum
Boiled peanuts are interesting. I liked them Stan didn't favor them at all.
This motor bike was amazing.
This is something we'll need to do on a preparation day.
We found out what was growing under those large black green houses.
Ferns!
Florida is the leading exporter of ferns all over the world.
There are also Magnolia trees that are grown under these things.
Everywhere we go up here is beautiful
Some people are not to friendly. We really don't like to bother them.

We went on Wednesday only and enjoyed.

The missionaries were to come with everything done with the cars and the 'Zone Leaders' were to check them.
But there was a HUGE storm...
So Zone Leaders checked the cars under this drop off area of the church.
Tell me why didn't they do this a year and a half ago.
We suffered in all kinds of weather to do this.
Lunch was also not a concern for me...which was nice. I could sit and enjoy being fed.

Sister Villalobos will be going home--she is an angel.
Elder Squires and Moultrie were with us all day. They drove with us to zone conference then we went to the Russo's for dinner that evening.
Sister Russo made a delicious dinner for us.

It was a sweet ride. They just don't make cars like this anymore.
Saturday Morning the Assistants stopped in for Breakfast.
To me they are just my boys.
Elder Gregson and Engemann have been in the Hunter's Creek district and Zone and were fun then.
We just really love these guys.
After Breakfast they gave us a very inspired lesson that we can use with a sister we are working with.

Saturday evening we went to Elizabeth's baptism...

Gollihughs were there and little 'Jimmy bojangles' is in his carrier.
His mom thinks he is happy...But his expression says something else.
Elder Campbell and I have been blessed in finding wonderful people to teach and fellowship.
Those who have fallen away are wonderful sensitive people who lack confidence, and have a desire to be a part of the church but don't know how to come back. What a privilege it is to work with them. We are certainly humbled by these wonderful people and so grateful Heavenly Father trusts us with this work.
There are the normal storms almost every afternoon and evening and sometimes morning as we saw at Lake Mary. It is beautiful and refreshing. If we didn't have these the weather would be unbearable.
Time is flying by.
We don't know how to stop it.
We have so much to do and so little time to do it in.
The Lord is on our side and we feel Him nudging us onward and directing our actions.
It is His church and we are so grateful for these moments of being part of the missionary effort.
