Back in the Saddle

Kind of lonely this week without the Neilson's..
But we are busy enough we don't have time to think about it.

Saturday morning sunrise at the temple...

Elder Capps Lewis and Jensen

Dinner at Wendy's
Not much time but we had to do this because..
One of our new Elders went home...
So Elder Lewis went to take his place.
So now the office Elders are two.
That means Elder Jensen sits while Elder Capps does the office work.
That is very unproductive.
A week and a couple days we get new Elders and Transfers again.
Always interesting to see what happens.
It will be fun to see who our new Assistant is...
Elder Hyer is going home....

After we ate at Wendy's  we took them and their investigator to the Temple tour
done by Brother Herzog.
The temple is always a beautiful picture.
Brother Herzog is such a Christ like indivitual.
He has committed his WHOLE life to Christ...
That is all he does.
It has been an incredible experience to know him.

(sorry three pictures and all blurry)
The Elders Capps Jensen and Lewis on the back and right.
Brother and Sister Maughn (who have helped the Rupe's get around)
Alicia Ronald and Mariah Rupe
Ronald is a member...
His mother came into the office a month ago and said her daughter-in law wanted to be baptized.
Elder Jensen Lewis and Capps were in the office when she came in.
They took it and ran with it.
The temple tour was amazing to both of them
Ronald was able to prepare himself and baptize her.
Alicia is such a sweet gal.
She has been through a lot...
and since I don't put personal things on my blog..
lets just say she is a walking miracle.

Stan and I went to the temple Saturday morning
Then the baptism
I cut Elder Rydalch's hair and Stan helped Elder James with the yearly audit.
I prepared a meal for the West side Elders.
West Side Hunters Creek English and Spanish
Elder Wood and Shelly English
Elder Vilorio and Brown Spanish
Toasting to the mission.

Mickey Spotting...
All roads in Florida lead to Disney...
Sometimes you get Mikey to take you there personally.

It was sure to happen....
We live in Florida.
Not a good thing...
But we move on.
(I did give a pass along card to the investigating officer and the other party)

Discovery Space Launch from the roof of our office complex.
You have to know where to look...
It is a little forward slash streak that looks like the clouds..
Kind of in the center bottom.
Historic day...
We would have been better watching it on the computer with Stan.

Sunset on a beautiful week.

I have seen miracles this week that put life into perspective...
When you know the Lord is in control...
and we then trust Him...
Miracles are all around us.

Faith..
  doesn't get you around trials...
it gets you through them.
