This week was a busy one but...
Thursday at the temple was the highlight.
Beth Adrienne and Oliver came to the temple while we were working.
Stan was able to assist in baptizing and confirming Adrienne--
Oliver was on his own in Initiatory.
Beth came as I was finishing in Initiatory.
I did get to assist with her.
As I stood and looked into my daughters eyes...
It was difficult to not cry.
What a moment to be able to help one of my own...
Stan felt the same with Adrienne...
(If anyone comes to the temple Thursday mornings let us know by Tues so we can ask to help where you are.)
We had lunch with them at the River Rock after the temple.
Stan Diana Oliver
Adrienne and Edward
(Edward stayed with an aunt in Jerome while the others were in the temple)
Oliver Beth and Adrienne
Oliver will be leaving Boise Tuesday...
Mary will pick him up in SLC...
Then take him to the Mission Training Center in Provo Wednesday...
So glad we had this one last time with him.
Monday was a pretty neat day as well...
I did my visiting teaching in Malta...
then visited some widows
And...
Went to Roclkand where Dani was playing volleyball.
I love the Wind Mill fields.
Going through the hills to Rockland the road goes right through the fields...
They are so big and amazing.
Dani #20 right there ready for that serve...
Time out...
Saturday was our Relief Societies Super Saturday
Marisol, a Sister who is investigating the church...
Gave a demonstration on making Spanish Rice and chicken Burrito's
Chris was there to translate for her.
The food was good...
And Chris did a great job.
Marisol is holding Jennifer's baby so Jennifer could eat.
Marisol had a party to cook for so I helped Chris clean up.

There was an embrodry class
(Natalie Grush taught it and brought the skirt she is crocheting for her daughter)
Some made cute Christmas Ornaments out of paint brushes...
Others did these cute pumpkins made out of 4X4's
There was a Humanitarian Quilt...
Clara Beyler was in charge and Jessica Lewis is helping her take it off the frames.
Eating and crafting....
Later that afternoon Chris' girls came to help clean our basement...
Jose and Chris went to a company dinner in Twin...
It was good to have the girls for dinner...
And...
It is wonderful to have a clean basement.

Like I said this was a very busy week...
I did my visiting teaching...
But
I must remember that one visit isn't enough.
I need to make sure my sisters are always in a good way.
I of course led the singing in RS...
THEN
I studied all week for the Gospel Doctrine Lesson.
How did it go?
To me it was a blur.
I only got half way through the lesson.
I did get some good comments afterward.
BUT
this meant a lot to me...
Jay Harper handed me this note during Sacrament meeting...
On a very sad note...
Jay Cottle has Lymphoma.
Decisions are constantly before us.
To make them wisely,
courage is needed--
the courage to say no,
the courage to say yes.
Decisions do determine destiny.
I plead with you to make a determination...
right here,
right now...
not to deviate from the path which will lead to our goal:
Eternal Life...
with our...
Father in Heaven...
