This is a week of raw emotion and LOTS of service.
We wanted to be with Mary and Tim's family and we almost did...
Their family adopted Gabby and Tuesday were sealed in the temple.
Nathan Tim and Jeran-
Megan Mary Gabby and Joie aka Diana Jo
That day we taught a lesson where hurtles were dissolved and acceptance happened.

It wouldn't have happened if we had put it off to go to Utah.
The Lord is in control.
Thursday marked 4 years since Ruth Nick and Audrey left us.
We were going to be in the temple.
But the Lord had other things in mind for us.
Service.
So Friday we did make it to the temple...
And there was a moment of awe that occurred as Stan and I did a few sealings.
So begins our week.
Monday was a District Preparation day.
Once a month they can meet together as a district for activities.
We had dinner here for all 10 of us.
Then Sister Juanita Millyard (Came from Alaska with her parents to visit the mission once again) was visiting and came to dinner.
11 around our table was a little snug but it was very homey.
Elder Bingham Moultrie Love Juanita and her dad Elder Haack in front
Sisters Higginson and Barlow are laughing pretty hard, Elder Cook tries to look innocent
Elder Haack Squires Cook Sisters Higginson Barlow and Bingham
Elder Moultrie
Moultrie Love and yes that is Elder Campbell
Cook Higginson and Barlow
Elder Bingham letting us know it is time for dinner.
Dinner is pot roast mashed potatoes corn biscuits and salad with ice cream and or fruit for desert.
Saying good-by again to Juanita Millyard.
Monday evening was Family Home Evening at Bishop Millers
there is a beautiful approach around a little pond.

Then the home comes into view.
There are acres of lawn and grasses all around the house.
Wednesday District meeting before Transfers.
No one really knows what our district will look like next week.
Yellow ties and green for the sisters. They forgot to tell us.
Elders Haack Bingham Love Moultrie Squires Cook and Campbell
Sisters Campbell Barlow and Higginson.
Elder Moultrie thinks he is out of here.
Sister Higginson also thinks it is her turn to leave.
I turned the left over pot roast gravy and corn into a soup for District Meeting.
Thursday August 18 our plans were to be in the temple.
The Lord had another idea.
In stead of musical chairs we did musical Missionaries Elder Johnson was on exchanges with Elder Bingham and couldn't get a ride back to Daytona.
Elder Skylar Hansen was back in Florida and wanted to see us and he was staying in Daytona.
We took Elder Johnson back to his apartment and picked up Elder Haack who was on exchange there.
Elder Zuniga rooms with the Zone leaders Johnson and Larmore
That is Elder Bingham on the ball.
Elder Fackrell is doing dishes, just completing his first transfer.
Moving Elders--four Elders packed in!
Yes Elder Bingham is stuffed in the back.
Elder Squires Moultrie and Johnson
Elder Skylar Hansen in Person.
So good to see him again.
So good to give him a big hug and catch up on life.
The group of us.
They little guy in the middle is 'Grandpa'. All missionaries know Grandpa. He takes care of the missionaries very well and they love him sooooo much. Hansen's were staying the week with him.
Campbell's Grandpa Skylar his sister and mom
Friday we did make it to the temple.
Friday night Elder Moultrie is having a melt down....
Good to see a Big smile on Elder Squires..
While in Orlando we picked up a package for Elder Cook
He came over Saturday to get it...
He is certainly Steve's clone with energy to fuel a rocket.
Elder Bingham and Haack showed up to join Elder Love and Cook.
It is kind of like home. We never know when the kids are going to drop in on us.
Saturday afternoon we had an appointment and when we got to the home no one was there.
That is the first time that has happened to us. Not a good feeling.
They have a sage colored palm in their yard. Most Palms have little black seeds this one has orange seeds the size of small apricots.

They also have this beautiful Juniper tree
Later on we went to Palm Coast/Flagler Beach and met Elder Fielding and Waite
The drive up is so beautiful.
We Met the Elders at the Golden Lion

Elder Waite and Fielding..
They parked their car on the main land then rode their bikes over the HUGE bridge spanning the water between mainland and the Island.
They were ready to eat...
(they parked their car mainly to tract the area and save miles)
After 5 1/2 hours of church (for Elder Campbell and me) Elder Haack came to me and said.
Can you take us over to Elder Moultrie's so we can get some food. They didn't want to get a ride back to Orange city and drive back here for the baptism at five. (saving miles)
I told him Elder Moultrie always had a dinner appointment after church.
I told him he could come over and I would see what I could scrape together.
I had some left over potatoes and sausage cheese--I threw them in a pan and they were just getting warm when the power went off. I did have the salad made yesterday, and I had fruit for desert.
The potatoes were warm enough to eat!
So I can still throw together a pretty good meal with what is in the fridge and hardly any power.
There were a lot of little things that led up to this moment that lets me know the Lord is very mindful of his missionaries and their well being.
Elder Bingham and Haack gave us a spiritual message after dinner.
What powerful teaching. These guys are amazing.
We just found out that Elder Bingham Moultrie Love Cook and Sister Higginson are being transferred.
These guys worm their way into our hearts and POW they are gone and we get new ones.
Love and Cook's area is a whitewash, meaning they are both going.
Elder Day, Oliver's friend from Scout camp, will be here training a new missionary
One constant as a missionary is change!
The other constant is work work work....
And of course a very powerful testimony.
Our drive back from Flagler Beach
"If we accept salvation on the terms it is offered to us,
we have got to be honest in every thought,
in our reflections,
in our meditations,
in our private circles,
in our deals,
in our declarations,
and in every act of our lives"

We ate on the deck. The temperature is 10 degrees cooler than Deland and a wonderful Ocean breeze.
