Christmas is in the air...

This Christmas
This Christmas may our Saviour
enfold you with His Love;
May He fill your heart
with gladness
and blessings from above.

This is our first Christmas in two years we have been home...
The first year in Florida we spent with Adrienne and Oliver.
What a joy.
Now they are grown and into their own things...

The next Christmas in Florida...
Carole Keane was baptized.
It was a time we will cherish in our hearts forever.
She and her husband Bob are our Forever Friends.

This year Christmas feels so different.
I yearn to be with friends...
with family
 and...
Keep the Savior in my heart.

There is so much evil in this world...
My daughter Mary and her family...
Initiated...
  'Random Acts of Kindness'
As a way to remember...
 our daughter Ruth
husband Nick
 and daughter Audrey.

I feel like that has carried over in everyone's lives.
It is something that can change the world.

Tuesday I went to Logan...
In the afternoon I met up with Becky Sydney and Jordan...
This is 'TRADITION'.
We walked in the door and there was our 'pink' tree.
Next to it to our left is a beautifully fun purple tree.
They both looked yummy enough to eat.

Found some %50 off halloween stuff...
All my grandchildren know I was schooled at Hogworts...
It is always such fun to be with them
in the place of Christmas Magic...

I was able to get a small tree and huge Poinsettia for our Christmas....

SO...
Grandpa and Jayden and Angie...
Moved our old brown comfy couch out...
and move the small flowered couch out of the living room...
To make room for Christmas...

Got the tree and poinsettia in but I need to do a little more...
Not sure yet...

 Ross is so cute...
He knocked on the door to say 'hi'
What a sweet kid...
of course there is always food involved.

I love Thursdays and the temple assignment we have...
The Lord has blessed me abundantly in this work...
I love it -- love it -- love it

We have received a lot of rain the first of the week,
and the end of the week.
Once again it is raining...
It could and maybe should be snow...
But rain is great...
As long as it is wet and fills our aquifers.

Saturday was such a fun fun day...
Angie, Jayden, Sierra and Reigan...
Spent the day with me in Logan.

We did some shopping...
Then we went to Anderson seed and the Christmas trees...
The purple tree
Jayden Angie Reigan and Sierra

Anderson's has fill every walking space with trees.
They have several rooms and different themes...
Amazing...

Bluebird Chocolates is next door to Anderson Seed.
I let the kids get a chocolate treat there.
It is not an easy decision.
So much to choose from.

He Went about Doing Good

"The spirit of giving gifts...
has been present in the mind of each Christian...
as he or she commemorates the Christmas season.
Our Heavenly Father gave to us His Son, Jesus Christ.
That precious Son gave to us His life,...
the Atonement, and victory over the grave.
"What will you and I give for Christmas this year?
Let us in our lives give to our Lord and Savior...
 the gift of gratitude...
 by living His teachings...
 and following in His footsteps.
It was said of Him that He 'went about doing good.'
As we do likewise,...
the Christmas spirit will be ours."
