There is a time and season for everything...

This has been a wonderful week.

Having four children - three school age--

Their homework...

Lunches...

Activities...

There is a reason parents are young when they have families...
We enjoyed every minute they have been with us...
BUT...
We are tired.
Their energy...
is hard to keep with.
There is a season for everything...
Grandpa made sure they read scriptures each morning...
I listened while helping them get breakfast...
and Lunches...

Ross, just five, went to play with his friend Tyler everyday while the older children were at school
Tyler belongs to Bryce and Jodi Campbell (Bryce is our Nephew)

Ross is so sweet
Because his big sisters take care of him when his mom and dad are gone...
He has never made cookies with Grandma...
We we made Cookie Bars for Family Home Evening.
Can I just say...
this little guy rocks at the games on my iPad...
He can out play his older siblings.

Family Home Evenin
(I apologize for some of the pictures, we were laughing so hard I couldn't focus)

This is a game we used to play as a family...
Poor Pussy.
The person who is 'it' or 'Pussy' goes around to the others as the Pussy...
the Pussy meows three times...
Each time that person has to pat their head and say...
Poor Pussy without smiling...let alone laugh.

Pussy can make any faces he wants and meow any way they want...

Grandpa spent a few moments talking to them about testimonies...
Then Dani and Olivia read to us from Grandpa's Barrus History
It was fun having family once again on Monday nights for FHE

Oh Yah...
Steve
He was on the phone and computer with Natalie...
their family time...

Monday night Ross woke up with a head ache...
I used to have children's Tyleno and medicine dispensers...
Not any more...
Dani and I...in our pajamas...
Went over to her home for supplies...
(midnight)
We did get Ross settled and asleep...
But two very funny things happened in our escapades.

Two contact cases that look alike...
One was on the counter and the other in the drawer where I always put mine...
BUT...
I was still kind of asleep and saw the contact case on the counter..
I opened it up and couldn't see any contacts in it...
Panic..
What did I do with my contacts before I went to bed?
Then Dani appeared..
She asked me what I was doing with her contacts...
Understanding began to dawn...
Hers are soft clear contacts...
In my sleepiness and blindness I couldn't see them in the liquid...
We had a good laugh..
I did find my case in the drawer and put them in.

THEN...
Dani went in for their house for the Tylenol.
When she came out the little kitty followed her to the car.
She took the kitty back to the house and ran to the car...
I knew the kitty ran after her so I was afraid to back out.
I got out and there was the kitty on the front tire...
I told Dani I thought the Kitty was hungry...
She got some food and the kitty clawed itself out of my arms and to the food...
We were able to drive away...

What a night!

Wednesday I spent the day doing Visiting Teaching...
and visiting others who were in need of visits...

Wednesday afternoon was Volleyball for Dani in Castleford way out past Twin Falls...
Dani's  team won...
But they had to play all three sets to get there.
Dani did very well, the whole team has progressed A LOT.

We had diner then I took her to Mutual...
Stan here at home got Dylan ready for Cub Scouts...
Dylan went over to the church with Tanya and Jamie Nelson.
Then Stan had to get all the children's things up to Jodi's...
They spent then night there so we could leave early Thursday for the temple.
Jamie and Tanya brought Dani and Dylan home to Jodi's.

If you followed all of that you are better then me...

Thursday afternoon we came back together...
Homework
chores
And
Puzzles
I got two new puzzles and we worked on them through the week...

We have another one on...
It is an older one with mermaids and dolphins and pirate ship...

Saturday Dani and Jayden helped me get most of my winterizing done...
Dani started helping me last week...
Now we have everything gathered in covered and secure for a long hard winter...
We hope...

After the work and food were taken care of they all went out and rode horses...
Then chores of course...
Nobody wanted to go to bed, but we had to insist.
Sunday was quickly approaching and baths had to be taken and good sleep was necessary.

Chris took Olivia and Sierra to town to sell cookie dough for the school...
these are the pictures from their adventure.
 Sierra and Olivia
Olivia...

Ben and Melissa got back tonight.
It is oh so quiet in  our home.
We will miss those kids but they need their Parents.
They helped Ann and Gale Wight move from Juniper to Ohio.
This is Ann and Gale with a grandson in front of their new home...
This couple taught the all those who knew them how to be Christian.
They will be sorely missed...

We went to a Fire side tonight...
Brother and Sister Gerrett spoke.
they were the first Temple President and Matron of the Twin Falls Temple.
He has been a seventy...
A Mission president in the Philippine...
and has served as missionaries in the Philippines.
They are reminding us that the 15 stakes in the Twin Falls Temple district will need to step it up with the 31 stakes from the Boise Temple District leave us when their temple is rededicated after an extensive remodeling.
Stan and I work as officiators in the temple once a week...
BUT...
We need to go as patrons regularly as well.
I know the Lord will help us to be equal to that challenge.

There is a time and a season for everything...
BUT
These little Geraniums seem to think this is the time to really shine.

After church...
Packing..
Eating...
One more video...
Oh it is going to be so quiet in this house...

Only God Can count the sacrifice;
Only God can measure the sorrow;
Only God can know the hearts
 of those who serve Him.
