As our week began...
we felt lost.
BUT...
The Lord was kind.
He sent Beth with little Eddie.
Beth is an organizer...and a good organizer.
Chris and her girls came...
Beth organized them and before I could blink they had our new kitchen put together.
She stayed the week so she could tell me where things were.
She cleaned our wash room...
she washed and folded a lot of clothes sheets and towels...
then went through and sorted out all the things in the basement bathroom.
It collects a lot of left over items...
left behind by other siblings.
See...
Ben and Steve replaced our our metal pipes that were corroded and filled with hard water residue.
In doing so they had to pull out the bathroom cupboard.
So to put everything back...
Beth was there to take charge.
Now our water works...
Thank Ben and Steve...
And...
Now things are ready to use for the next visitor.
Thanks Beth.
On top of working herself to death...
She brought food and prepared it for us...
AND
Took care of little Eddie.
He is quick and well very busy.
What has Stan and I done?
We went to Logan to visit his Mother.
It was so good to see her looking healthy...
and as normal..
working on a baby quilt.
Beth and Eddie
Diana Beth Eddie Becky
Rosalie Stan
I don't know if anyone has kept track of how many she has quilted.
A LOT..
We also saw Stan's brother Ron for a few moments.
Looking good Ron!
Becky took us to the new Cleaning Store (Don Aslet's store)
To get the proper equipment to clean our new hardware floors.
We had lunch at a yummy place called Kneaders.
It is a have to go to place.
We filled the back of our car almost as full as it was in our trip home from Florida...
with supplies and groceries.
Beth went with me to visit my dear friend Luana who lost her hubby of 74 years last November.
She is lonely.
We visited Rachael Hall who has some serious foot surgery.
Stan and I visited President and Susie Harper...
That was a good time..
BUT...
So sad.
As he released us we had to take our name tags off.
Just like that we were lay members once again.
We are sure the Lord has a work for us to do.
We are anxious to be about His work.
We don't want to be old people...
setting on a bench letting others do the work.
Sunday...
We left here at 7:00 AM to drive an hour to get to our stake center...
where we reported before our high council.
It was wonderful to see old friends...
We went from there to church.
That 'living in a warp' feeling came back.
Many we love have passed on.
The ward is now the biggest in the stake.
It seemed as though every bench was full.
Yet there were many not there this week.
Where do they put them.
On top of that they hold a Spanish Sacrament meeting the same time as ours.
The children meet with the English for primary and YW and YM.
We saw little girls and boys who have grown up into beautiful young men and women.
New babies.
New people.
Or are they children that used to live here with their families...
who had moved on..
were educated...
married..
had families...
and moved home.
Some over moved in the valley.
Some from the 1st ward to the second and vise verse.
BUT...
The arms of loved ones still felt warm and welcoming.
How wonderful to be home.
(panoramic view of the Raft River Valley on our trip from Declo to the ward in Malta)
Black Pine Mountain from the 'back' side.
Clear Creek range
The mountains west of Malta

Our mountain home...
Coming up over the pass...
heading home from church.
Our memories of Florida Orlando Mission will always be there.
The people we loved so much communicate...
We hear of their good works.
Carole is good to keep us updated on the comings and goings of the Deland 2nd ward.
She is amazing.
We are so blessed to have met her.
This has been a wonderful experience...
blogging our experiences.
For those of you who have been faithful followers...
Thank you for your support and love.
This will be the end of this chapter of Blogging.
I may do other things later on.
We will never be the same.
We love the Lord...
We know this Church is true.
Christ lives...
And we love Him with all our hearts.
