Cars...Office...Goodbyes and endless eating......

So the car saga continues...
This is the car that was prayed back into the Lords work.
It was prayed for once again...
It stayed with Elder Lopez, Montgomery, Machado and Schmiel
until they were able to get a replacement car.
The assistance took their car up...
and brought the miracle car back.
The paperwork is just about done and WILL sell  this next week!

Stan also got five new cars this week.

Elder Doxey shows off the first two.
Chevy Malibu's
Elder Moore and Parsons traded in for a new one.
One of the cars not pictured was delivered.

Elder Doxey and Hyer...
Assistance always get a new car...
because of the miles they put on cars.
Four cars for sale...
The others are still doing missionary work...but will be back in the lot soon....
Unless the Lord needs them to do His work.

Stan is at the office--Saturday..
to do all the paper work, computer work, file work...
for five new cars.

LIFE AT THE OFFICE...

Elder Hyer...
Hard at work...
Elder Doxey...texting...it is work!

Releasing tension.
Elder Hyer is a hard worker...
Mechanic by trade...
But he can do just about anything asked of him.

Act of love...
Sister Snyder's little sister is having chemo...
Not an easy thing for Sister Snyder BUT...
Sister Snyder is having her hair cut as short as mission rules will allow..
if she could she would have had me shave it.

Sister Ellsworth, Sister Snyder's companion (ASL)
Had a hair cut that was growing out...
and I am trimming it..
It turned out really cute...
both of them.

I also did three Elders at the same time...

Quite the pile of hair.

Making sure the missionaries get their mail is one of my jobs...
This package was packed by a loving mom and secured on the top..
then sent with faith it would get to her son.

This is the bottom of the box...
It was not taped on the bottom...
Elder Schmuz did not get the new suit that was in this box.

I had to call Elder Schmuz...
and his mom...
After the shock wore off his mom said...
I guess we start over...
She didn't tape it or insure it...
A good lesson to all of us.

Richard Clay--High councilman from Lacanto (Leesburg Zone)
He told his story of conversion.
His wife (From French Canada) was learning the gospel.
He wouldn't listen to the missionaries.
She prayed and fasted for him...
Finally he listened.
He was baptized in the Ocean.
He gives up 1000 + miles a month for the Lords work...
as well as the hours to go with those miles.
He is down here from the North to work at the Bishops storehouse.

A familiar face...
Elder Shawn Rice with his 'greenie' Elder Becket.
It is against mission rules...
but this guy gave me a hug at a distance...
He is so neat.
He really appreciates all the mail he received from our family.
He is getting mail from home now.
EATING...AGAIN!

Not a good picture, it is a picture of a picture
Elder Fullmer and Engemann.
We took them to dinner Tuesday night to..
Tijuana Flats.
Not a bad place to eat,
good food
good service
Very loud music
TV's everywhere
and atmosphere was...well.

Stan went to the office Saturday to work...
the office Elders showed up.
He put them to work then...
Elder Wilks kept hinting that he was going home in ten days.
Stan picked up on it and realized...
they wanted to go out to eat.
AGAIN!
They didn't come back to the apartment for me...
But went to the Azteca for dinner.
I have always wanted to go there...
DARN!
(at least I didn't eat all those calories)

 FOREVER FRIENDS
Elder and Sister Williams
Elder and Sister Williams are on their way home.
Everything they own is in this little car...
or in three big bins on a greyhound bus headed for Utah.

Not much room for her feet.
Did I say we eat while here?
Back at the Olive Garden saying good by with....
FOOD.
Sister Williams Me Sister James Sister Swain Elder Swain Elder James Elder Williams
President Hall and Stan back row.

This is the waitress that serves us each time.
She is a cutie and we just love her.

OUCH
Yes I had to find a Chiropractor.
He is one that was recommended to me by Dr Hurst who was treating me in Burley.
I really like Dr. Fogerty..
BUT...
to get to him I have had to take the toll roads.
It caused great stress to my 4 foot 11 1/2 inch frame.
I put the address in the GPS...
it got me to where I needed to be...
BUT...
I had no idea where I was or how I got there.
I-4 - 417-528 and Central Florida Greenway, Ronald Ragan turnpike, Orange Bloosom trail John Young are all part of the names of roads up here.
I know how to get around on the regular roads.
I never thought I would have to use the tolls...
But never say never.
Stan went with me the next time, and I think I am a little wiser.
Third time I felt much more confident.

SUNDAY
Just mention here that our Primary did the Primary presentation:
I Know That My Savior Loves Me
You all know how much I love Primary presentations.
This one was Perfect.
The spirit was strong...
The children all did their parts perfectly...
They had a lot of groups singing...
(we have a very musical ward)
Yes it was good.
Couldn't take a picture....Sorry.....Wish we could have recorded it.

FLORIDA

The flowers and contrasts are amazing.

Trying to find out whose cross this is.
Bird of Paradise...In person they are incredible.

Florida Skies are huge and never fail to show its grandeur.
This is sunset...
Sunset is behind me but spread is glory around the sky.

Kiwano Melon

Sweet but probably won't get it again.

Friday night..
Saying good by to friends
We all look at the same moon.

Some missionaries had to learn a hard but necessary lesson.

Helping someone isn't always giving people what they want...
but what they need.

It is a lesson we also had to learn...
the hard way.

We bought one of those melons once just to try something new and it seemed like a lot of work!
